These Terms govern your use of Super Text Summary, including summary generation, saved summaries, free attempts, and subscriptions.

1. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Super Text Summary, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
If you use the app on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
2. The app and service
Super Text Summary lets users enter or paste text and generate summaries, TL;DR outputs, key takeaways, pros and cons, and other supported summary styles. The app may also provide local Save, Copy, Share, and Clear features.
The app is intended for general productivity and convenience. It is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial, academic, or other expert advice.
3. Your content
You are responsible for the text and other content you submit to the app. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit that content for summarization.
You retain your rights in your content. You grant us a limited right to process the content you submit only to provide and operate the app, including sending the content to our backend and AI service provider to generate the requested summary.
Do not submit content that is unlawful, confidential without authorization, harmful, infringing, or that you do not have permission to process.
4. AI-generated summaries
Summaries are generated using automated AI systems and may be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or unsuitable for your specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before relying on them.
Do not rely on AI-generated summaries as professional advice. For important decisions, consult the original source material and, where appropriate, a qualified professional.
5. Saved summaries
The app may allow you to save summaries locally on your device. Saved summaries may include the original text, generated summary, selected style, selected language, and timestamp.
Local saved summaries may be lost if you delete the app, reset your device, or otherwise remove local app data. We do not guarantee backup, sync, or recovery of locally saved summaries.
6. Free attempts
The app may provide a limited number of free successful summary attempts. For this release, the app may provide up to 10 successful free summaries on a device before requiring a subscription.
Free attempts are counted locally. We may change, reset, remove, or modify free attempt limits in future versions or for operational reasons. Premium subscribers have unlimited summary generation subject to fair use, service availability, and these Terms.
7. Subscriptions, billing, trials, and cancellation
Super Text Summary may offer a weekly auto-renewing subscription. If a free trial is available, the exact trial length and price will be shown in the app and in Apple’s purchase confirmation sheet before you subscribe.
Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not directly process your payment card information.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, unless a free trial applies.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through your Apple ID settings before the renewal deadline shown by Apple.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.
Subscription access depends on Apple and RevenueCat purchase-status verification.
If subscription terms shown by Apple conflict with descriptive text in the app, Apple’s purchase confirmation sheet and App Store subscription settings control the billing relationship.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app or our backend systems. You must not:
attempt to extract, abuse, or bypass API keys, App Check, purchase checks, or backend limits;
use the app for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activities;
attempt to overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the app or its backend;
submit malware, secrets, passwords, or content that you are not authorized to process;
use the app to generate or distribute content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time. The service depends on third-party providers including Apple, Firebase, RevenueCat, and OpenAI, and may be interrupted or unavailable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Intellectual property
The app, design, software, branding, and related materials are owned by Era Apps or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you.
You may use the app only as permitted by these Terms, Apple’s applicable terms, and the App Store rules.
11. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that summaries will be accurate, complete, error-free, or suitable for your needs.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Era Apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities arising from your use of the app.
Some laws do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Applicable laws
These Terms do not limit any consumer rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Your use of the app may also be subject to Apple’s terms and the laws that apply where you use the app.
